Our commitment
This site has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the recognised standard for accessible websites in Ireland and the EU.
What we have done
Clear colour contrast, text that resizes without breaking the layout, full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline, a skip-to-content link, descriptive text on images and links, and respect for reduced-motion settings.
Getting help quickly
Crisis support contacts appear on every page and on a dedicated Get help page, so help is never more than one click away.
Known limitations
This is a design build, so some links and forms are demonstrations rather than live services. Any third-party content we add later, such as maps or video, will be checked against the same standard.
Tell us about a barrier
If you find any part of this site hard to use, please email [email protected]. Describe the problem and the page, and we will fix it as quickly as we can and offer the information another way in the meantime.
This is a working summary for design purposes. The charity's full, legally reviewed policy will replace it before launch.
